I am always enthusiastic for the worlds athletes.
BUT,I wish I could be MORE enthusiastic about China hosting the Olympics.
However,the whole genre of the Olympics is overshadowed by the reality of China's involvement in World-wide Human-rights abuse and making BILLIONS on it!

They can release as many white doves of peace at a cosmetic ceremony, but it's still the bird-s*** that's left on the ground when the doves are LONG GONE from the 'birdsnest'!
At least the Chinese government will be able to 'witness' the suffering of their OWN PEOPLE better,with the 300,000 closed-circuit TV's recently purchased from USA AND Europe! Those will stay MUCH LONGER than a basket full of doves!
